APP DEVELOPMENT
For this assignment I was required to create a working demo of a mobile App of my choice. I first needed to come up with an idea, then further develop what the functions for the App should be. From here I then went on to design and create a full wireframe for the App and then finally a working demo version using AppFurnace. The idea I had which I developed further was a map in which users could add both lost and found pets in order to help lost pets to get reunited with their owners.
 App Functions

The main functional purpose of the Lost and Found pets map App is to help lost pets get reunited back with their owners. The App can help achieve this in a few different ways explained below using user examples.

If you lose your pet you are able to search the map in your current location to see if someone has found your pet and added it to the map so you can contact them.
Also if no-one has added your pet to the map as found you are able to add your pet to the map as lost so that if someone who has found your pet searches the map they can find and contact you.

If you find a lost pet you can add the found pet to the map so the owner can contact you to get reunited with their lost pet and you can also search the map to look for lost pets within the area to see if someone has already added the pet as lost.

If you lose your pet while away from home you are able to search the map within the set location in which you lost your pet even after you have left the area and at a later date I would look to add further functions such as notification for when someone adds a pet within a certain area and criteria so that if someone adds your lost pet to the map as found you would find out straightaway either through a notification from the App or through an email alert.

From this page a user can add a lost pet to the map by filling out the form. They then receive an ID number by email so they can login to update or delete the information if needed.

 Edit A Pet

Once logged in to edit a pet the user is directed to this page where the form is pre-filled with information of the pet they have added plus an option to delete.

 Add A Found Pet

If a user has found a lost pet they can add it to the map on this page.

 Edit A Pet Login

From here a user can login to edit a pet they have already added to the map.
